Five cards, a Joker and a hand to build: that is the challenge set by Joker Poker, the video poker game by Amusnet that brings a classic firmly into the present.
The concept is straightforward. A standard 52-card deck, joined by the famous Joker, a wildcard capable of completing your most ambitious combinations.
You deal your first hand with a single gesture. Then the decision is yours: which cards to keep, which to discard?
How a game of Joker Poker is played
The gameplay follows the conventions of video poker, in a streamlined version designed for clarity.
- Press DEAL to receive your five opening cards
- Select the cards you wish to keep
- Confirm with DRAW to replace the discarded cards
The final hand decides everything. Your winnings are calculated according to the pay table, displayed transparently on screen.
The addition of the Joker subtly shifts your strategy. This wildcard enters the game as a versatile asset, ready to turn an average combination into a winning hand.
A simplified style, amplified thrills
Amusnet focuses here on what matters most. The interface is direct and free of unnecessary flourishes, keeping your attention firmly on your decisions.
The design remains clean and easy to read, in keeping with the refined atmosphere you find at Versailles Casino. Every table exudes control.
This simplicity takes nothing away from the intensity. On the contrary, it brings it to the surface. The excitement builds with every DRAW, as the final card is revealed and seals your fate.
The return-to-player rate approaches the vast majority of stakes wagered, a particularly generous level for video poker enthusiasts. In other words, the machine keeps a modest margin and leaves the advantage firmly with the informed player.
Volatility remains moderate, meaning smooth sessions and consistently distributed wins. Ideal for finding your footing and sharpening your reading of the cards.
The Jackpot Cards Bonus lying in wait
The true signature of this title lies in its bonus game. The Jackpot Cards Bonus triggers randomly and adds a promise of extra reward to your sessions.
Four progressive prize levels compete within it, revealed through a screen of cards to turn over. A touch of suspense that crowns an already well-oiled mechanic.
The maximum win can climb to several hundred times your stake, a fitting reward for the boldest hands.
Joker Poker appeals equally to seasoned video poker players and to newcomers eager to discover this iconic format. The rules take only a few rounds to grasp, while the strategic depth reveals itself over time.
Available on desktop and mobile alike, this classic reimagined by Amusnet goes wherever you do. Settle in, deal your first hand and let the Joker guide your game.
The right choice is yours to make, card by card.
